About Marshall Snyder

Marshall Snyder cared for his elderly mother who, prior to her death, had Lewy Body Dementia, a form of dementia characterized by symptoms of both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.  Legal, medical and  financial issues all interact whenever elderly parents are no longer able to care for themselves.  What are we going to do now is what the families ask.  Can we keep Mom or Dad out of the nursing home?  Can a family member care for them?  If they go into a nursing home, who pays and how much?  Can Medicaid take the house?  Marshall Snyder has first hand knowledge and experience with these issues.  AREAS OF REPRESENTATION include; Elder Law ; Nursing Home Planning including Medicaid Planning for nursing home eligibility; Medicaid Annuities for asset eligibility; Miller Trusts for income eligibility; Probate; Special Needs Trusts; Guardianships; Conservatorships; Wills and Estate Planning; Powers of Attorney for financial affairs and health care; and V.A.
